Notes on Ryzom status (Feb. 18)

Xavier posted a recap on the legal process. As we all feared, we could be in for a long wait, as it appears GameForge GmbH never paid Nevrax in full to purchase Ryzom, during the previous liquidation.

My notes on the legal status have been updated and moved to this location.

    Very interesting indeed, and sounds like we could be waiting until January or later to learn what Ryzom’s future will be. :S

    Has anyone ever found a reliable total for the number of players in Ryzom?

    Over 100,000 players signed up according to the old name forum listings. However, most of those came and left fairly quickly. Probably the majority were gone by Patch 1. When Arispotle was at is most populous in the years I played, I think about 1500 were playing there simultaneously. Leanon and especially Aniro were supposedly more populated.

    Ta muchly for the update, but it has still broken my heart that I can’t come play with you guys.
    Did try the french server, but couldn’t understand a word anyone said, was all dutch to me :P
    I miss handing out cats daily and hunting. Still here’s hoping good things will happen
