A server/client patch for Ryzom has just been announced. The release notes for version 1.3.0 show a pretty nice list of bug fixes. Most notably, this should mark the end of the map and team chat bugs.
The patch is scheduled for Monday January 26, and is expected to last from 9AM to ~11AM, GMT time.

And the heavens parted the clouds, and Jena spoke wonderous words to all homin-folk. Tis a glorious day, blessed by Jena, a bright day that no cloud or storm can defeat with its mightest thunder.
All Praise Jena, Mother of Atys, for she has brought us many blessings!

Anyone been in yet and tried out the new-and-improved version? I’m stuck at work.

Just crashed while using a teleport respawning.
Seems team map/chat bug isn’t fixed.
Some odd polygon artefacts on the Stable walls.
Crashes don’t seem to destroy map flags though.
