And the building started…

Trykers stood to defend their own, the words of Lady Ailan echoing in their minds. Time after time in the past, since our people have resurfaced from the Prime Roots, we have had to fight to keep these lands, Aeden Aqueous, united, undivided, the lands of the New Trykoth citizens! she had said.

Had it already been sixty years since homins dared come up to the surface, the old bark of Atys? Yes, 2483. Sixty-two years… Were Trykers still alive who remembered it? So few even recalled the building of the temples, and the dreaded kitin invasions. But Lady Ailan had urged us to look towards what lay ahead of us.

The times our enemies could easily move around in our lands, under the noses of our People, have to come to an end! she had said, and Trykers had rejoiced. But then she had raised her hand and warned us all. Even more so, because I have recently been informed of a strange increase in Kitin activity. Trykers and friends of the Trykers stood thunderstruck. Surveillance camps had to be erected, she had urged. Materials needed to be gathered. Building materials delivered. It was time to build again, for our safety, and that of all hominity. This is a grand project, worthy of the architectural genius of the Tryker, which will assure that we will never again be taken by surprise! And they had all cheered!

Soon the defenders of New Trykoth set out to gather what was needed, keeping the delivery teams busy. Oh, the camps didn’t yet look like much, but they were slowly being put together, and would soon make us all proud, and most of all, keep us safe against the growing Kitin menace.

For the Kitins of the Depths had resurfaced, in many places all over the lands, white and ominous. When Marile  reported the presence of evil Goo in Darkmoor, which had already infected a Stinga, homins redoubled their efforts. The surveillance camps would have to be completed soon! Surely it wasn’t too late to prevent a full-scale invasion!

People of the Lakes! New Trykoth is counting on you and will reward loyalty! Tryka! Meer! Sella! Glory to the people!

Is it me, or is these missions getting to be a little redundant. Or have I missed some of the in-game encounters with some more event-related people / mobs that would spice this up ? I know I am not online as much as others.

Now that the Lakelands have been completed, it would be time for those of us who have good relations with the other Homin civilizations to assist those who have not gotten things completed as quickly.

Thus I have completed the whole delivery run in the Matis lands, and let me tell you its harsh due to the distance.

The Lakelands is in a circle, simple and complete. The Forest lands you end up running up and down the entire strip of land two to three times. Sure a mount makes this a little quicker, but still makes for a much longer trek in my mind. Additionally, Gingos can attack your mount instead of you. I noticed for the first time through all of these deliveries that my mount was struck, but only damaged… not killed.

The package mission giver is just east of the Matis Arena Entrance.

    – The FIRST delivery spot is on the edge of Majestic Garden and Fleeting Gardens, near the Rising Border Post.

    – The SECOND delivery spot is up on Torbak Trail Hill in Knoll of Dissent

    – The THRID delivery spot is past the Little Mountain path (up into the steppe lands) about 500m to the right of the passthrough (aka, to the northeast), along the cliff edge.

    – The FOURTH delivery spot (and this is the start of the long runs) is BACK down in Fleeting Gardens, just inside the “maze” through Heretics Hovel, about where the road on the map stops. It is here I found that it makes things a tad quicker if you leave a packer at the Fleeting Garden’s Karavan Teleport, and port down from Knoll of Dissent to your packer, and take the package in on foot. Its a tad bit more dangerous, but I was able to do it solo without getting killed or even taken to half health.

    – The FIFTH delivery spot (once again, long run) is found in Grove of Confusion, along the road, about 100m north from the Karavan Teleport Altar. This is where I teleported from Fleeting Gardens (leaving my packer next to the Teleport Altar) back to Knoll of Dissent, and used my mount to ride on into Grove of Confusion

    – The SIXTH and FINAL delivery spot is at the end of the northwestern road headed into Westgrove Gate. You DEFINATELY need your mount here, given that it is just as deadly as running full tilt through Loria.

Unfortunately there isn’t an easy reset spot like there is with Winds of Muse and leaving ye mount at the Teleport Altar. Ye have to ride your mount back through all of the horrors down to the package mission giver.
