Rites

On mainland, rites consist in a series of missions, which, once completed, give certain bonuses. While there are many missions to do, only a few are part of a rite. When we complete a mission that is part of a rite, a mention of it is added to our Encyclopedia (Shift-E). Unfortunately, not all rites are available, even when the list of completed missions appear in the Encyclopedia. The list of rites that are known to be accessible is given below.

Types of rites:

  • Rite plans (Axe, Bowrifle, etc.) allow us to use Mats from any region to craft it with. They are given upon completion of the rite.
  • Bonuses come in three forms: as actions (Lightning Wall Aura), as stanzas to include in actions (Crafting Durability Bonus, Absorb Source Damage) or as plain additional character levels (Focus +50, Sap +50). Some rites also give bonuses that are permanent and cannot be undone (Extraction Time Bonus).
  • Finally, rites can lead to convenience extras, such as the ability to add more markers on our map (Number of Landmarks Bonus).

    Requirements: Tryker Fame 34, Lake harvest 25

    Note: To harvesters, this bonus can turn out to be a curse, as they often have to wait longer for each node's timer to expire. This isn't a stanza, but a permanent bonus that cannot be reverted.

    Tasks (all South-East of Avendale):

    1. "Clean away goo traces on Ba'reiliam Eoppie's Land."
    2. "Gather some building materials for Ba'reiliam Eoppie."
    3. "Gather some food for Ba'reiliam Eoppie."

    Note: This bonus may have been useful when the maximum number of flags we could place on our maps was limited. It may have since then become obsolete.
